Seems to be very sturdy. The hinges on the lid are great. They hold the top open so you can load things into the bin. Bought it to store cushions from a patio set will easily hold 12 cushions size of each is 24 x 24” with room for a few more items. First off let me say it took 2 of us to put it together. Was very easy. About 45 minutes. It is a nice storage bin. Not as sturdy and strong as I thought it would be. Bought this to store the pool floats and toys in because I was sick of carrying them back and forth from the garage. Now, most everything fits in it on the pool deck with room to spare for small things. I have four blown up pool floats (one of which is bulky with a unicorn head and tail), a small kiddy pool float, some pool noodles, padel boards, and the deck umbrella. And like i said i still have room to add any smaller items. Very spacious. Fairly easy to put together. I put most of it together by myself. Attaching the lid to the hinges on the box was the final step and I did need my husband to help with this. I had a hard time keeping it in place while I tried to screw on each side. It seems sturdy enough so far. I am worried about how to use it in the winter without mice nesting in it. We had a shed that the mice took over and made super disgusting. So Im not sure that Id store anything in this over the winter. There are spaces at the bottom for air flow that the mice can easily access. Very roomy deck box. Looks nice. Fairly easy to assemble with two people. It's big! The directions for assembling it could be a little better -- small print and not very clear diagrams. My only real disappointment with the box is that rain gets in along the center seam in the top. If I were to do it again, I would buy a waterproof box, not just weather resistant. I use it for storing my sectional cushions, so water getting in was problematic. We remedied the issue by using duct tape on the interior along the seam. Fingers crossed that it holds. This 260 gallon water resistant resin lockable deck box is HUGE! In a good way! It would be an excellent option for storing patio cushions during rain and snow since it is water resistant. Although we considered that option, we are going to use it for product deliveries to our home to help packages from getting wet and destroyed and or stolen. We will have the lock open and ask the delivery driver to lock it when they leave. It is very durable and was easy to put together. The only problem that I feel could have some attention to are the directions. They are very confusing and not very user friendly. I probably could have put it together a lot quicker without looking at the directions. Besides that, the functionality and integrity of the deck box is truly a five-star. Deck Box, Waterproof Resin,UV Resistant & Lockable Storage Box for Garden,Brown

Three stars because it is big and sturdy once assembled. Getting a complete unit and assembling was a special kind of nightmare. I've assembled legions of items in my 40+ years. I DIY, and I am pretty handy. That being said, they need to fire their engineers - both the ones who designed the shipping packaging and the ones who designed the unit. My first box came open on both sides and damaged. My second box came with all the screws loose in the box and one side almost open. In order to assemble the lid, you have to sit INSIDE the box - yes, you have to sit inside it - with a light source while someone holds the lid slightly off your head. The screw holes in two places were impossible to utilize and who uses self-tapping screws in plastic?? One of the female receptors just popped out during install. Additionally, the metal loop for a padlock does not slide cleanly into a slot; it actually pushes out the plastic side and rubs against it before slotting into a gap. I imagine over time this will compromise the integrity of the unit as the metal loop is constantly being dragged over the plastic side every time you open or close. Directions were less than clear and there didn't seem to be an assembly video to reference. The unit also off-gases like crazy - I assembled it yesterday and I can still smell it in my house even though we moved it outside right away. I would order this only if you need a unit of this size because they are hard to find. I needed it to store my hammock during wet weather so it had to be 62+ inches, which was hard to find.. Jessica.
