My lamp arrived on time. The next day I unboxed the lamp which was very well packed. I loved the colors of the shade, which was as pictured online. The base is nice and heavy. Assembly took longer than anticipated which was due to the amount of "threading" for the finial to be attached. This is one beautiful lamp. It's sturdy but I think it is made of a heavy resin and not ceramic like the specs say. However, it will make it more durable knowing I don't have to worry about it chipping. The color is perfect. I was afraid it would be too pink but it is a warm earthtone. And the shade! Let me tell you, it just adds to the look of the lamp. It is packaged so well that the lamp shade did not suffer damage in transit. It is definitely not a cheesy lampshade that you have to put together with Velcro like is required of some lamps on another website that sells all kinds of things.
