I have been looking for just the right pieces to enhance the area over my mantel and these fit the bill. Installation entails using two screws to apply a plate which the lights fit over. It took around four hours to charge them initially; I can't speak to how well they hold a charge as we didn't really purchase them for extra light. Charging is as easy as charging your phone and they come with two charge cords. They do have dimmers and a remote. This light fixture is beautiful. Heavy and well made and well packaged. It’s very yellow gold so if you want a softer gold- this may be too bright for you- but it’s perfect for the room I am using it in. The glass is a white solid and looks very expensive. Love it!.
