Overall I really like this couch. It’s super cute, spacious, and looks great in my living room. The fabric is soft and I love having the ottoman. My main complaint is that the cushions are thinner than I expected, so it’s not as plush as it looks in the pictures. Assembly was also a little frustrating because some of the pieces were really difficult to fit together, and a couple of them still don’t fit together completely. Im still letting the pillows breath, is big but im not a big fan of the pillows for the back, for my taste they are to low. This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. I absolutely love this couch! I measured it out with painter’s tape on my floor beforehand to make sure it would fit, and somehow I was STILL surprised by how freaking huge it was! Thankfully, it fits, and it’s also super comfortable. I had pretty much resigned myself to never ordering a couch online again after my last one ended up being way too firm. But after weeks of researching, I finally committed to this one, and I don’t regret it at all Also, you HAVE to fluff the pillows! I was a little worried after seeing some of the review photos where the pillows looked really flat, but they just need some attention. I literally punched and fluffed each one for about 2–3 minutes, and I swear they puffed right up! So if they look flat when you first unpack them, don’t panic. Give them a good beating first. Lastly, I saw a few reviews mentioning that some of the holes for the legs weren’t drilled. I almost feel like those reviewers may not have read the directions because the “missing holes” are actually on the end pieces. The middle section is the only piece where all four legs are screwed directly into the bottom. Once you follow the instructions and see how the pieces fit together, it makes sense.
