This is a great sink ,when every inch counts in tight space. The drain is towards the back, witch you can actually put garbage can in underneath the sink. Most sink drain are in the middle ,which does not leave a lot of space for much. this is excellent in a small kitchen that every inch counts . I am beyond satisfied with the sink and I think anybody that purchase this sink will be Extremely happy with this product. Believe it or not it fits in a 24 inch wide cabinet. This is the second home I have installed Kohler Riverby sink in because I love it so much! I have had the 30" version of it in my house since 2016 and it still looks like new! Keeping the included rack in the sink keeps it from getting scratched or marked. I needed a smaller sink for a small condominium I own, so I purchased the same sink in this 25" version. Having the drain offset away from the center makes it much easier to place and rinse dishes without spoons or forks dropping straight down into the drain, so I have never had that issue. It is beautiful, sturdy and the best part is how it slightly slopes downward toward the drain, making rinsing and cleaning it much more efficient.
