It is pretty and sturdy. As noted the instructions are not the best, and for some reason there is a gap in the back so we could not screw the back to the top ( see top right of photo). I needed an outside storage shed with a thinner profile. I ordered this cabinet mostly based off the dimensions. So, first the good points (1) the order arrived undamaged (2) the directions were easy to follow, (3) all parts ( there were a lot of them) were present clearly labeled (4) it holds quite a bit of stuff once assembled. Now for the reasons I gave it 4 stars not 5 (1) it’s quite time-consuming to put together so give yourself at least 2 full hours if you’re working alone (2) the base of the cabinet does not sit flush with the rest of the storage unit is likely to be an entry point for bugs or standing water (3) all pieces are covered by a protective plastic adhesive which takes the brunt of the shipping scratches but must be removed from each piece preferably prior to assembly for a clean, scratch-free look (4) it’s almost impossible to remove the adhesive from all pieces once assembled (5) the metal, once uncovered, scratches easily. It’s an outdoor storage shed so chances are it will get scratched. So it’s not the end of the world, especially if it’s out of sight. I cannot confirm if it’s waterproof but the roof pieces overlap in a way that makes me think it will do just fine in areas not inundated with rain inclement weather.. Leslie. Fillmore, CA. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was exciting to organize the garage with this Sunnydaze Lockable Storage Cabinet…However..it looks so good that it is going on the porch and my other half can get their own for the garage! This was super easy to put together. All the joints lined up beautifully and it is smooth and looks so beautiful. I love that. There’s a locking feature and the shelves are nice and deep to be able to fit all the goods. A lot of times when you purchase a plastic item they’re always wobbly or they don’t quite fit together perfectly. This is made with laser like precision. There has not been one wobble of this even when we moved it around to find its perfect spot. It’s very stable and strong. Our porch area often becomes a catch all for cleaning items, outside toys, gloves, umbrellas, leashes, bags, books, and everything else this large family drags home. Sunnydaze Lockable Storage Cabinet contains everything so nicely and looks so clean. I love that. It is a strong sturdy plastic that will serve us for what I see as years to come. Very happy with this purchase - greatly increased the storage capacity on my tiny apartment balcony and looks sleek. I trust this will tolerate sun/weather better than the plastic alternatives. Can fit quite a lot of my outdoor gear (inflatable paddle board, 2 pairs of snowshoes, 2 camp chairs, backpack) plus some gardening odds and ends. There’s a built-in pegboard with hooks in a couple different sizes so lots of options to customize the interior. Took about an hour to assemble by myself; some of the schematics are hard to see/don’t match what the actual pieces look like, but relatively easy to figure out (and there’s an assembly video as well).
