Quick delivery. Shelf unit is very sturdy. This unit can hold more weight than similar units available at big box stores or warehouse clubs. I have several of those other shelves and this one is more heavy duty. Unit width is right at 72” which is what I needed to fit a tight space. Assembly is slightly challenging due to the connection points having tight fits. It took me about 1.5 hour to unpack and set up. A second person would help reduce the time. I used a block of wood and hammer to set beams in place. If I ever had to disassemble to move, it would be tough since everything is so tight. Beam height is around 3.5” so a little more than some others shelves on the market. This reduces the opening between shelves a little. I set my lower shelf with 20.25” opening. The rest have around 17.25” openings. Two of the wire rack shelves are in two sections around 3ft wide each. I assume this is for easier installation as the instructions show to put those in the middle two shelves. It would be a tight fit if not in two pieces. I love this! It’s so much bigger than the three plastic ones I was using before. I wanted the top one a little lower because I was planning to put all of my, and my significant other Dan’s suitcases. Up on the top shelf. One word of advice. When attaching the top and bottom side supports together. Put a shelf in between the two supports. So that it can be stable when you’re finishing the setup. Plus whatever you put there. Can help stabilize it too. Putting this together by myself. Was pretty easy. Although I wished I had an extra hand sometimes. With how wide it is. But I was able to get it altogether by myself. In four hours, and it was done. I put the bottom prices for the bottom part of the legs in. That say to do first in the directions. To not scratch up the floors. But this was going into the garage. So it really didn’t matter. And our house is very old. So the garage floor is old too. The individual parts felt a bit flimsy while I was assembling it. I actually bought several at once and even joked to a friend beforehand that, based on the initial quality, this might end up being one of my worst purchases. But once everything is put together, the unit is surprisingly solid and works great for storing light to medium‑duty items. I wouldn’t trust it with anything extremely heavy like bricks or tile, but for my needs it’s been excellent. I’m giving it four stars - I'd happily give it five, but I’m knocking one off because the sturdiness of the individual pieces is questionable.
