I like the size of the lamp. It has a smaller footprint and doesn’t take up a lot of room on the end table. I especially like the on/off touch switch at the base of the lamp. The USB port at the base of the lamp is a convenient feature as well. What I don’t like about it, and the reason I gave it a 4, is the lampshade. The shade seems to mute the light coming from the bulb. The light has a yellowish dull glow not very conducive for reading. These are fabulous lamps for a living room. They are sleek in design and would go with everything. The shades came rolled up and you attach to frame very easily. Great product. We put this in our reading nook. I appreciate the various brightness levels for the lamp. It can get VERY bright, so pending where you want to put it or what you need it for, I'm betting it has the level of light you will need. Nice lamps but I don’t care for the lampshades thy come with. The original shades are Fairly easy to assemble. The fabric has some weight and it attaches with velco at the back.
