It took 1.75 hr to assemble but would have been quicker with an extra pair of hands. It says it is strong enough for an adult to sit on, but no way would I let someone do that because it just doesn’t have the strength of buildmaterial to not sag with a 160 lb person resting on it. Can't beat this deck box for the price. Excellent value. Assembly is straightforward and all parts are labeled. The 90 gal. size (in some places it says 82 gal.) was just enough to fit 6 dining cushions and pillows. It is sturdy enough for being this light but I wouldn't say this is a heavy duty and sturdy box that will take abuse such as sitting on it or kids jumping on it.
