I love these lamps. I am not a "modern" furniture lover, but these go great in my transitional house. I LOVE these lamps. I wasn’t sure if they were going to be too…plain but they were perfect. I guess depending on the surrounding decor they could be industrial but then also kinda romantic. I like the size of the lamp. It has a smaller footprint and doesn’t take up a lot of room on the end table. I especially like the on/off touch switch at the base of the lamp. The USB port at the base of the lamp is a convenient feature as well. What I don’t like about it, and the reason I gave it a 4, is the lampshade. The shade seems to mute the light coming from the bulb. The light has a yellowish dull glow not very conducive for reading.
