Ok, this is just the “coolest” fan…..ever! Looks and operates exactly as it is described. Delivery box and contents arrived in perfect condition. It is pretty heavy! I’ve put up my share of ceiling fans, but opted for a professional installer this time. Glad I did, as he built some much needed support beams in the ceiling, to ensure it was stable. Plan on buying a large medallion to affix to the ceiling. Looks better, IMO… The electrician even needed my assistance to complete the install, so be sure to have some help. Totally worth it! Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. This double-headed rotational fan, with cylindrical central housing and straight, parallel arms, is designed with a retrospective aesthetic. It offers fluid lines and quiet axial rotation. The fan heads can be infinitely positioned in 180-degree arcs for optimum air movement; the greater the angles of the motors to the horizontal support rods up or down, the faster the axial rotation. A slow, controlled axial rotation is achieved by both fan head position and fan blade speed. Matthews rotational fans circulate heat and air-conditioning more efficiently than traditional paddle fans.

This is a beautiful and quality fan! I wish I could share a video to show how both fans actually spin around like the blades on a traditional ceiling fan. On top of that the caged fans can be tilted up or down. The fan moves quite a bit of air so it works perfectly in our 16x 18 master bedroom. It is also pretty quiet- the sound reminds me of an old school oscillating fan which puts me right to sleep!! Comes with a handy remote with low, med, and high settings.
