The Vevor 16" extraction blower fan is extremely strong. This thing moves some serious air. Don't think you are going to be powering this thing up without anyone noticing. The fan has some serious torque and it is extremely loud in either the low or the high setting. Likely due to the all metal construction. The price seems very fair considering it comes with a hose and the quality seems to be there as well. The only thing I have an issue with is getting the hose to stay in place. The tie system works but is almost useless. I might switch out for a ratchet strap or something on the next use. Also this unit is very large. Your going to need some extra shelve space for storage. This is such an upgrade from our 10,000 BTU portable air conditioner. We purchased this Danby because our old a/c unit started blowing hot air. We have it set up in our living room, which counts as two rooms if we were to carpet it and so far, it's keeping the space nice and cool. We live in an apartment, so this works really well. The true test will be how it lasts during some of the summer's longer heat waves, but as we're experiencing mini heat waves right now (that last maybe 2-3 days), I'm happy to say that it's doing a decent job.
