These are really nice, considering they are plastic. I bought the gold ones and I'm planning to use them for everyday use even though they are quite shiny. One side is a smooth, easy to wash surface. The flip side is more textured. I just noticed there is a clear removable film on each placement. I guess to protect them? Frames are a good valued. I resized the included mats to meet my needs. They look fine and the included glass was OK. Saved having to get glass. Had a problem removing the corner guard staples on the first one and split the wood a bit in two places. The other frame has two chunks out on the back where the holders turn into the slot.. Mark.
