We bought this for our primary bathroom renovation, which unfortunately is on the smaller side of primary bathrooms. We wanted our shower and tub to be installed on the same wall and had limited space, so at the top of our wish list was a smaller tub that was still comfortable (for our growing family our occasional baths as 5’4 and 5’10 adults. After deciding that a freestanding tub wasnt for us (going for a mid-century look), we decided to go with this one based one reviews (ease of installation and comfortable). The tub is beautiful and I can't believe the price for a stone resin tub. I was quoted more for an acrylic tub, which would have cheapened the overall look of my bathroom remodel. It was perfectly crated and undamaged. It took 4 men huffing and puffing to haul it to my primary bath, but it was just installed and all is working well. A few things to note: it is thinner than I imagined it to be based on the weight, so I hope it doesn't mean it is more fragile in the long term. the matte will definitely get scuffs when installing, but it comes right out with the sander.. The tub is gorgeous. Make sure you use mild detergent to clean like dishwashing liquid. I used soft scrub comet and it took forever to get the lighter color film residue off. It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite.
