For the past few months, I’ve been updating all the doors in my home, switching them from white to black. When I came across this door, I decided to order it for my closet to add a different design and save myself from having to paint another one. Very nice door. Well made. Easy to clean. Looks good too! Unfortunately I didn’t measure right and our doors are either bigger or smaller. So we can’t install it right now. The sliding handshower holder allows you to easily move the shower to the correct height, but also allows you to use the handshower freely to clean the shower or wash a pet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an antique "Pedestal Base" cast Iron tub with a ceiling mounted curtain surround. The Locarno 36" Wallbar allows me to mount a hand held shower head which is typically found on this vintage tub. The Wallbar has a sliding cradle which supports the shower head at any height desired by the bather. The cradle locks at the chosen height by a quarter turn of a simple lever. The Wallbar comes with a 63" chromed flexible hose which connects to the tub diverter faucet valve at one end and to your favorite shower head on the other end. The shower head connection fitting on the hose is tapered and just drops easily into the sliding cradle. The Wallbar installation is straight forward. A drilling template is included for convenience and installation instructions are included, although they are fairly simple with little amplifying information, such as drill bit sizes etc. Locarno recommends a qualified plumber do the installation, but any "Handy" person with common household tools should be able to install it. Locarno also cautions that the Wallbar not be used as a hand hold as it is only secured to the wall by two (2) wood screws. It comes with 3 coats of white primer, so you can add the finishing of your choice and it will look great, adding protection to the wood to resist for the years to come. This door is meant for internal use and has a trimming allowance of ¼-in on each side and 1-in on the top and bottom, please note that trimming will damage any finish or the primer, and any edge that was trimmed must be sealed or painted to prevent moisture from entering the wood.

Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
