[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this drain for a new bathroom remodel to add to a custom sized shower. I am very happy with the quality and look of it. Installation was a bit tricky as this was the first custom shower drain I have installed but I was able to figure it out. Once installed this drain is awesome. The large water collection area prevents any kind of pooling and has a luxurious feel about it. First off this is an amazing handshower. The powder rain is one of her softest rain shower experiences I have ever had. The design is gorgeous. And the fact that you can change the shower pulse type with a touch of a button is incredibly convenient and somehow they made the button press incredibly satisfying. “But why only four stars!!” You might be asking… Well, hansgrohe like so many others, has gone all plastic. The weight of this unit is nothing substantial and is kind of disappointing. However I trust hansgrohe, as I have a shower head and thermostatic control that has lasted 16 years with no issue. This looks beautiful and also creates more space in the shower with its compact dimensions. Water volume and temperature can be adjusted via a concealed tap, sold separately. With its square wall flange, the hansgrohe FixFit E wall connection pairs particularly well with a geometric faucet design. Installation is extremely simple: the FixFit E is screwed onto an existing water outlet on the wall (size G ½; DN15). After that, any commercially available shower hose can be connected. All hoses with a conical nut will fit into the holder – including shower hoses from the hansgrohe range that are identical in colour also. You can create your own dream bathroom without much effort.

Hans Grohe invented the shower bar more than 60 years ago: It is the original from the Black Forest. To this day, we are consistently continuing to develop it. Your advantages: exclusive designs with glossy chrome, brushed nickel, polished nickel, rubbed bronze, or polished brass – as with Unica E. To make sure everything fits perfectly, there are Unica shower bars in different lengths, with shower hose and brackets, to suit all conventional hand showers. Whoever uses the bathtub for bathing and showering would also want to be as flexible as possible when positioning the shower head. In the shower, hip height is sufficient as a lower limit; there you should perhaps opt for the 24" wallbar or you could go for a 36" wallbar depending on your needs. It brings incredible amounts of freedom of movement, making it perfect for families with children and grandparents. To help ensure that the shower hose is a perfect length it is included along with many bars.
