It's a good ping pong paddle for intermediate players. I used the Stiga Evolution for 8 years prior to buying this paddle. This paddle provides more speed and good control. I only played with it for a few hours, but the Evolution has more spin and more "feel" when hitting the ball. It all depends on your style of play and skill level, and preference. I bought two of these mirrors and they look fabulous. Super classy and elegant with a mirrored interior. The door hinge is amazing -- even when you accidentally push too hard on the door, it closest softly. My only complaint is that one box came without the supports for the fourth shelf -- so one of my cabinets has four shelves and one has three. This item is a gift for Christmas so I have not had the opportunity to use the paddles yet. They look very sturdy and well made. Each paddle is nicely wrapped in bubble wrap. The four balls that came with it are as nice as the higher end balls I have. The only problem is that this is a gift and the boxes are totally covered in a thick rust smelling liquid that has dried up all over the box.
