Smaller than I wanted it will not hold the towels side by side. If your plug is behind the rack there is not enough room for the towels to hang and its a fight to get them on the rack. Also the rack does not heat as well the only area that heats is where the towel is laying across the bar not just touching it. I like this size because my hubby's towel is on top and mine is on bottom, and they don't really overlap lap. I feel like there's ample room for both towels, they each have their spot. It looks beautiful on my wall. I hooked it up to a light switch and it works like a dream. My towel gets toasty... keep in mind I'm not expecting scalding hot so it meets my expectations. This is my first time buying a towel warmer. I thought the towels would get warmer but Im please with this purchase. It sticks out of the wall about three inches. I had to buy a door stop to not hit it with the door. I have a small bathroom. It looks classy, it has to be installed by someone who knows how to run electric wiring. I like the switch option..
