Love this desk! One of the gears does not line up super square, and there was plenty of casting sand attached to the legs. One small ding in the front of the desk top, but not a big deal to me. Others have commented that the desk does not move up & down readily. It makes me wonder if they put any grease on the worm gear. Be generous with the grease. Desk works great! I did not tighten the wood handle super tight, so it rotates in my hand when I lower the desk. I also skip it when raising the desk top. Instead I use the wheel, like on a large valve or a ships hatch. Not as convenient as mashing a button, but it goes with the style. Plenty of room for double 24” montiors. When ordering this desk I was a little nervous since it had no reviews but I wanted to give it a chance. And it ended up working out great! The wood is really sturdy and not a cheap material. I’m very happy with this desk! I’m a fairly tall lady (5’10”) and it gets more than tall enough for me to use while standing. Setup took around 3 hours with 2 people (granted we’re not very building savvy) and instructions were fairly cleareasy to follow. When it came to the “use a box for support” part of the manual, we just used throw pillows and it worked fine. Everything was packaged very thoughtfully and the quality of the desk feels very sturdy.
