This was the first ceiling fan that I have installed and putting the item together itself was a breeze. The instructions were very clear and I found the video to be clear and provided a quick and brief overview. I wish the video was a little slower in showing all the actual connections but I was able to figure it out after about 5-10 min of looking it over and pausing the video. That was the only thing that was vague. Putting it up was challenging for me just because holding it up and connecting everything with jello arms is hard lol . Packaging needs improvement. There’s scratches on some of the fan blades and the glass has scratches on it. Feels sturdy, but light enough to make installation easier. I mainly liked this product because of the APP to be able to use the fan. So you don’t necessarily need the remote. I had a fan previously that had a remote and I accidentally washed the remote because it was lost in the sheets when they went into the wash. lol.
