Innovation in the rubber edging category. 12 in. pieces have many benefits over 4 ft. options. First, 12 in. sections virtually eliminate the need for cutting to fit the design length. Cutting a piece of rubber is similar to cutting through lumber not easy. Also, the 12-in. pieces allow for more design options such as right angles and tighter curves/circles. The 12-inch. pieces interlock together easily. No digging is involved simply anchors in the provided anchor nails for long-term stability. Easier to create curves/angles than 4 ft. options. They were the perfect height I was looking for as why I bought these over metal ones.. They look really nice. I live in a state where we have red clay soil and so it is best to place after a rain or watering. I am not sure how far down they are supposed to go in the ground.
