Looks great! It was easy to assemble but hard to do the screws. The paint is a bit easy to mess up if your screwsscrewdriver slips in those tight areas Also, the doors are very slightly misaligned so they don’t close perfectly. I suspect that it can be fixed by raisinglowering the leveling thingies at the bottom but one had to flip the whole thing after it’s all done to do that and that didn’t seem like worth the effort. File cabinet is a nice piece of furniture but it was a beast to assemble. It took me six hours to assemble it; two of the six hours could have been avoided if I have secured the cabinet to the wall. After assembling the cabinet and placing the folders it was really wobbly, so I decided to secure the cabinet to the wall. Ordered four locker units and all four arrived damaged. The boxes were beat up with corners busted open, and once opened, many of the metal pieces inside were loose and not properly packaged to begin with. This led to extensive scratching across the lockers, along with several noticeable dents, likely from shipping. The lockers themselves could have been great, but the packaging and handling completely missed the mark. I was offered a 20% refund, which doesn’t feel appropriate given the condition of all four units. Attached is a few of the 30+ photos I took to cover all the damage across the four units. Before I even started building, I was impressed with the packaging. Everything was secure, clearly labeled, and they even included gloves to protect your hands while working with the metal. Much appreciated. You do not even need to hunt down a screwdriver, which is a nice touch. I checked the edges and felt a couple sharp spots on the inside, but after assembly, I could not find them anymore. They must be tucked away securely within the structure. They recommend two people for assembly, but I did it solo without a problem. I had to use my foot or lean something against the wall a couple of times, but overall it was very manageable alone. Now for the build. At first, I was skeptical. Some of the metal pieces seemed very thin, and I honestly did not think it would look good or feel sturdy. But it came together better than expected. Everything fit well except one piece that needed a little extra push, possibly due to a slightly thick metal coating. Once in place, it was fine. If you have larger hands, a few of the screws may be tricky to work with since they sit very close to the surrounding material, leaving little room to grip or turn comfortably. The dark purple is a great color - file cabinets are fine for the price point. One of the two I ordered has a sizable dent on one corner. It it was to be in a corner or not viewable from two sides, I would be ok with it. However, it is being used to support wood for a desk in a brand new church office and plain to see.
