2 Inch Thick Cutting Board

This 2-inch thick END-GRAIN solid hardwood butcher block from Ruvati is the ultimate companion for your culinary experience. Sized to fit perfectly and slide on the built-in ledges of your Ruvati workstation sinks. In dual-tier workstation sinks, it fits on both the upper and lower tiers. End-grain means the board is made of short pieces of wood standing on their end (vertically instead of sideways). This gives a beautiful checkered finish, and a cutting surface that is strong and durable. The surface is made of the fibrous ends of the wood, and with every blow the knife slide between the wood fibers. This helps keep your knives sharper and makes your chopping a pleasure. You can use this butcher block by itself on top of your counter, or if you have Ruvati workstation sink, it sits and slides conveniently on top of your sink.

This cutting board was inspired by the original boos butcher blocks that were made from a solid piece of hardwood. their product is as close to nature as you can get and has a unique story. Each board is kiln-dried, with rustic edges and slight variances. You can even count the age rings. Some of their boards will have more grain than others; some will have knotholes and discolorations. All these features make each board beautiful, unique, and full of character just like they made them in 1887. Which one of their all-natural rustic-edge design cutting boards speaks to you.

Beautiful wood cutting board. Bought the oil and lotion and pre-treated as the directions say and it is so nice. So far, no knife marks at all and is really solid.. Kelly. Livermore, CA. Tue Oct 20 2026

A top-of-the-line cutting board. Made of gorgeous acacia hardwood, this square-end grain chopping block is functional and beautiful due to its rich, shimmering colors. Unlike traditionally made wood cutting boards, end grain construction is less dulling to cutlery because the wood grain direction accommodates cutting instead of resisting it. Wear and tear is minimized on both cutlery and on the board, giving more longevity to all your cutting tools. This multi-functional board serves as a prep station, cutting, and serving board to satisfy all your kitchen needs. Decorative functionality at its finest, it's what you deserve. This product is made from acacia wood from Thailand, a non-endangered species that is not harvested from rainforests. In fact, we plant a tree for every tree we use. Use & care after use, wash this product in warm soapy water and wipe excess water off with a dry towel. Never soak or leave water on the wood during drying as it may result in warping over time. Wood products should never be washed in the dishwasher. Brb rejuvenates and protects your board by rubbing it down with mint pantryâ® butcher block oil after each use. When the board is dry, apply the oil liberally and allow it to soak in thoroughly before use. Regular application of our butcher block oil will prevent cracking and preserve the rich natural colors of the wood. From time to time, the surface may become "Bumpy". This is completely natural as we leave all of our wood in its natural state with no varnishes or lacquers. You can simply use a high grit sandpaper to smooth it out and oil it again to bring it back to the new!

Absolutely love this cutting board! I highly recommend it to anyone BUT ONLY if you are committed to oiling constantly for the first 2 months. Because of the high quality wood, it dries easily. So after each use for the first 2 months I oiled and conditioned the board. Now I only touch up 1-2 times a month and I’m sure even that will lessen with time.. Tanya. PA. Sun Sep 27 2026

Many cooks prefer to use different cutting boards for preparing meats and vegetables. To help segregate food types, we have chosen a simple, affordable board and clearly branded opposite sides with meat and vegetable icons. Now it TAKES TWO sides of one board to do all the prep work. J.K. Adams has built them with softened edges and a smooth finish, in the sizes you need. These are the cutting boards you'll reach for the moment you walk into the kitchen. They'll last you a lifetime - or until your children demand them when they move away from home. Made of hard rock sugar maple.
