Great little fridge! Looks exactly as pictured. Comes down to temp quickly, and gets nice and cold provided you don’t have it sitting in direct sunlight without any shade. Ours sits under an awning that, provides shade for part of the day, but it still gets hit with all of the afternoon, Texas sun. Even so, during the height of summer it’s worked great. Make sure to check the fridge when it is delivered however, because we did have to have the original fridge we were shipped replaced due to damage the frame sustained during shipping. It was functional, but the frame bending took away our ability to properly hook the fridge up to the other components of the modular kitchen. It took a couple of calls to figure out how to get the issue sorted, and Wayfair even tried to tell me that our issue reporting window had closed. But, when I pointed out to them that the reason I couldn’t report the issue sooner was because I was given incorrect information by the first Wayfair rep I spoke with regarding how to handle the replacement request, they accepted responsibility for putting me outside my reporting window and shipped a replacement right away.. I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better.
