Stormtroopers are one of the most iconic images from the Star Wars saga. These imperial warriors, who have gone on to become part of pop culture, have been faithfully depicted in porcelain in minute detail. Made in glazed white porcelain, black was chosen as the main color for the decoration with some touches painted in gray tones. Let me preface this by saying I am a carpenter by trade, so maybe my expectations were a little higher than they should have been. I think these cross heads are a great product, but have a few issues. Maybe I got a “dud”, but the thing was warped/bowed like crazy. I had to manipulate the thing for about half an hour, glueing and fastening just to get it to sit somewhat flush and level. The pre-mitered corners had some issues as well. Not a flush cut, So I had to do a bit of work on it. For the price, and the convenience of not having to make it by hand..I’d say go for it! Just be sure you understand some work will have to be done to get it perfect. I also want to mention, I got a set of Pilasters from the same company, and those came out excellent! Highly recommend. Kay Bojesen's royal life guard regiment consisted of several different soldiers and the Officer was part of the troops. Kay Bojesen created the soldiers for the first time in 1940 on the occasion of King Christian the X's 70th birthday as a tribute to the Danish king. At that time, they stood guard as one meter tall soldiers outside Kay Bojesen's shop in Bredgade. In 1942, Kay Bojesen created the smaller figures in the same size as we know them from the postman and the police officer. The officer carries his saber and stands as the leader of the Regiment.
