The trunks are thick wooden dowels, but once they’re sitting out, they actually look pretty real. The leaves have a great olive-tree look and a nice amount of “fake” olives. The undersides of the leaves are gray, though, so I had to flip a bunch of them to make it look more natural. Also, the branches aren’t attached super well , if you bend or rearrange them too much, some can pop off and be a little tricky to put back on. That said, they’re the perfect size for shelves, counters, or anywhere that needs a little something without the hassle of a real plant.
