Packaging needs improvement. There’s scratches on some of the fan blades and the glass has scratches on it. The remote is zip tied to the fan, but the installation screws that are also packed side are free to be tossed around in the box. I really do like the overall look of the fan. Feels sturdy, but light enough to make installation easier. I mainly liked this product because of the APP to be able to use the fan. So you don’t necessarily need the remote. I had a fan previously that had a remote and I accidentally washed the remote because it was lost in the sheets when they went into the wash. lol. Bought this ceiling fan for my parents to replace an older ceiling fan that provided very little light. I primarily wanted to solve the lighting issue in a room that had dim areas that needed more light but still wanted a fan to move air. Their room only had one ceiling junction box to mount anything to so this seemed like a good solution to address both functions.
