The end matched pieces are very sturdy when fitted together, and this snug fit allows you to attach to studs when convenient, skipping a seam if needed. Each board is trimmed to remove major imperfections with no holes or flaws. Boards are reversible to reveal a traditional "V" groove or contemporary nickel gap look. We recommend ordering at least 5% over your needed square footage to account for any custom cuts. Cedar is a highly resistant wood that resists shrinking, swelling, warping, and rotting. Very happy with this purchase. True to pictures. Some of the pieces were slightly warped, but nothing too bad. My only complaint is that only one of the edges is painted. Looks so good! I’m a rookie when it comes to stuff like this, but this wasn’t so hard to install. We made some mistakes but it still looks fantastic. It comes in single planks- the picture shows three, but it’s all separate planks you lay on top of each other and they make the perfect spacing. We used liquid nail and hammered nails in since we don’t have a brad or nail gun. Gun would make this job even easier, but you live and learn. We painted after and it looks awesome. Couple planks came in damaged, (and boxes looked kind of roughed up when I got them) but Wayfair was awesome with their customer service. Super happy.. Jennifer. Williamstown, NJ. 2020-05-12 01:33:49
