Only the original front plate and end caps need to be removed and recycled. Installation takes just a few minutes and does not require tools or professional assistance. The one-piece design is constructed from heavy-duty 22-24 gauge (0.033 in. thick) galvanized steel, engineered to withstand years of physical and chemical wear. The clean, semi-gloss white powder-coated finish can also be painted using a roller or spray to achieve a custom look. Baseboarders are considered child-safe due to the absence of exposed sharp edges and their ability to block access to the heating element from the top. I have been using these filters for the last 7 years. I live in LA and the facet water isn’t the best to drink. These filters make a healthy water that taste good.
