Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings. The Air Jet Massage System includes an air pump with a 3-speed variable push control, strategically positioned air jets for optimal therapeutic relief, and an auto-purge to maintain an air system free of any build ups. The Monaco has 16 strategically placed air jets create a gentle massage. 8 upper, fixed flat jets for your back, hips and thighs, while 8 floor jets located in the lower foot area for a foot and leg massage. The 5-Piece fast-fill faucet (18 GPM based on plumbing conditions) has: 2 temperature levers, a diverter lever, a mounted faucet and a pull out multi-functional hand shower. The main feature is the door made from a custom brushed stainless steel and a frosted tempered glass window. The door swings into the tub and a lever lock creates a secure, watertight door seal. The 5-Piece fast-fill faucet has 5 pieces: two temperature levers, a diverter lever, a mounted faucet and a pull out multi-functional hand shower. The hot or cold lever controls the temperature of the water. It has a fill rate of 18 GPM, based on plumbing conditions. While the tub fills, enjoy the comfort of the Heated Seat & Backrest.
