Nicely made chairs to replace our midcentury set of chairs that has served us well. These new chairs are the exact dimensions of out old chairs, which is great. Seem very sturdy, like the finish on the wood. Seat size is generous. We built them on the floor, which was a bit unwieldy, probably better to do on a work table. Did not have any issues with misaligned holes, but you really have to make sure you have all the parts lined up properly, definitely need two people to put together. I also find these cushions to be more than adequate for sitting long periods of time. So far so good, just that the back doesnt give with time but it doesnt seem like it and were on the thicker side. The chairs are nice but there were several issues assembling them. The screws did not line up very well with the holes they were supposed to screw into. One hole was filled with glue or something and we spent at least 30 minutes trying to get the bolt threaded.
