Just put it together today (by myself, mind you!), so I can’t speak to the quality long term, but it’s perfect for what I need right now. Took me an about 2 hours to put together - lining up the heavy top was a little bit of a struggle, but i got it after a few adjustments. It’s heavier duty partial board, but the coating on it seems like it’ll hold up well. OK, this was REALLY difficult to put together. My Mom and Dad and I worked on it for two days. Pictures and instructions are less than clear, especially when putting in the drawer slides, and we ended up having to take them off and reposition them after we’d already put the bottom and top pieces together. If I could have hired someone to assemble this for me, I would have, and if you can, you probably should. That said, it’s perfect for what I wanted. The island did have one flaw a chip out of the top corner of the table and someone from the factory or warehouse colored it in with marker. It was small but very noticeable. The quality is as it should be for the price point. Beautiful island especially for the price! It took me 40 mins to put together alone and 9 months pregnant, but for any regular person it would take much less time! The stainless steel is obviously not heavy duty and I see it getting scratched in the very near future but that doesn’t bother me, especially at the price point it’s at. Carefully selected thickened solid wood, durable, natural and beautiful texture, provides strong support and elegant appearance for the island.

It’s a bit shorter than I was thinking it would be. Maybe I assumed it would be counter height. It’s beautiful but I am going to have to add some height with leg extensions because you can’t use the eat at bar with counter height stools. But it’s gorgeous.
