We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings. I bought the 11". I have used BergHOFF exclusively for 12 years. The only difference is I previously bought the BergHOFF Eurocast, from a another retailer. I even contacted BergHOFF by email, asked them if the ferno-green (ceramic), was the same. BergHOFF Eurocast has a shiny finish on top of the inner pan coating. Berghoff assured me it was in fact the same. Time will tell, 4 of my frying pans are the only ones that wore out after 10 years. Been putting off buying new ones until I found them on Wayfair. After 12 years of use, my 12 1/2 inch WOK and 1 other 12 1/2 inch frying pan plus 2 others, still look brand new. One point I will make is I have Parrots, last 30 years, this is one of the only type pan if accidentally overheated will not kill them. Teflon type pans when new or overheated , the fumes will kill any Parrot/bird you have living in your home. Pretreat the pans with vegetable oil as instructed, and periodically do it over the months and many years you have them, they are well worth the money spent.. Anonymous. South Bend, IN.
