It isn't heavy so is not difficult to handle, with that being said, the Mason Cash products are substantial and very well made. I have several pieces of Mason Cash from dog bowls to large mixing bowl. I love the embossed floral design on this teapot. The top is secure so pouring is easy. The glaze is silky smooth. Beautiful Crucible knob is an easy way to elevate any piece. I have it here replacing a signature gold tone stainless steel knob on my deep teal Dutch oven.
