Whimsical in terracotta, Rocky the Teckel is a sculpture by the emerging Thai artist Nhut Nhathawut. With an expression that is so lifelike that it feels like he may bark at any moment, there are a number of artisanal aspects to the canine sculpture. This includes the obvious strokes of the artist's tools that play along the surface of the dog's body. Taking its name and shape from the meaning of apple in Italian. The pendants, designed by Thomas O'Brien, are part of a group of new modern organic shapes. It started with a hand-blown bottle vase with an apple–like shape. The mix of delicate glass and timeless steel is decidedly modern with a slight nod to mid-century design.

Love these pendants. They are of the right size for my 10’ long Island. I used 3 of them. The glass shades make the design very light yet elegant. I love them and recommend them if you are aiming for a light feel in your space. Make sure they work with your other lights and elements ( curved, round shapes, black and gold accents, ets.) and your won’t regret them. They are very versatile and can work with different design styles and vibes from minimalist modern to classy elegant traditional. I go for classy European with neutral palette, arches and very light and airy feel and they fit right in! (Sorry for a mess in my pics, still finishing up our renovation, but you get the gist of it).
