Exactly as described. There was a small piece of wood on one side that popped out when one of the dowels was pushed in, so deducting one star for that. But overall, it is solid wood, feels sturdy, and just as pictured. Be aware that when empty, it feels inclined to want to tip forward. This was reduced when I put cat food at the bottom and weighed it down a bit. If I had small children, I would absolutely use the wall anchor. This really is solid wood, which I think is pretty unusual these days. All of the fastener holes were precisely milled so it was very easy to put together. It prob took my an hour and a half to put together two cabinets, attach them and get them in place. There is tons of space inside of the cabinet so I can fit all of random stuff that sits near my front door in there. It effortlessly helped me de-clutter my living room. I bought two of these carved door cabinets and could not be more pleased. They are incredibly well made and very sturdy. There is no wobble when you open the doors, and the doors are very symmetrical and clothes easily. The design is a lovely Bohemian style. I left the legs off of mine and put one on top of the other and secured it to the wall to form a hutch. It is just beautiful and everyone who sees it thinks it looks great.
