This is a very solid piece of furniture. Very well executed. The reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because the paint job wasn’t up to par. The doors need caulk and another coat of paint. I honestly think the cabinets are unfinished furniture and are painted per order. I’ve purchased many unfinished furniture pieces in the past and know what the quality should be. I’m definitely happy with my purchase but recommend the vendor take more time and care with finishing the cabinets. Exactly as described. There was a small piece of wood on one side that popped out when one of the dowels was pushed in, so deducting one star for that. But overall, it is solid wood, feels sturdy, and just as pictured. Be aware that when empty, it feels inclined to want to tip forward. This was reduced when I put cat food at the bottom and weighed it down a bit. If I had small children, I would absolutely use the wall anchor. Solid nightstand at a reasonable price. I bought new bedroom furniture but the nightstands were way to wide for my room. I found these on Wayfair along with many others to choose from with a more narrow fit. Instructions were good, only one spot with 2 screws was a bit unclear but I was able to figure it out in the next step. Very heavy, solid peice. It is taller than a lot of nightstands which is nice given the thick mattresses, I don't have to reach down. Thanks to a few picture reviews I was confident the color would be close enough that it would not drive me crazy that they are not an exact match with the new bed frame and dressers. I love them!. The first cabinet I received had dents in several parts (1 pic included in this review.) I called wayfair they sent me out a whole new cabinet. I have never had a problem with Wayfair customer Service. They are genuinely interested in helping making sure you are pleased with the product you receive. They have always readily replaced a damaged or defective item Im happy to say this still holds true after years of purchasing from them I did not have to repack the dented cabinet, which would have been impossible, they told me to just throw it out. Once I put the cabinet together I loved it. Looks great is very functional for my intended use which is my art room. My husband cant believe how good it looks how it looks like wood. I included one picture of the inside screws that fasten the sides to the back because I had trouble seeing the holes and which way the sides fastened on. Once I figured it out turned the sides opposite the way I had them the whole thing went together quickly.
