We gave it 24 hours to fully expand and that’s all it needed. There was no odor whatsoever. It’s nice and firm enough that we added a topper and it’s perfect! I highly recommend this mattress. This mattress is more medium firm. I prefer firm but overall it’s very comfortable! There was an issue with the covering being a little loose on one side, but I did get that rectified with the manufacturer who was quick to respond and very helpful so I’m very appreciative and overall satisfied!. This mattress is extremely comfortable and more on the firm side. Just wish the sides wouldn’t sink so much when you sit on the edge, also if it would have handles to help move it around easier. Love this mattress! It is heavy! But there are 2 handles each, on each side of the mattress to make for an easy lift with another person! It is true to size in thickness! We had to get deep pocket sheets because our regular ones kept coming off. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because it is a little softer than I like. I wish it was a bit more firm.
