These sheets feel pretty durable. The pocket fits my 24" hybrid mattress, in fact, the elastic goes all the way 'round and underneath it. The lack of softness, and wrinkling earns a -1 star. I have never used a sheet with the etra elastic on it - not sure I would buy again - doesn't seem to be any better fit than without the extra elastic.
