This is excellent and nearly perfect for what I need it to do. Before you read on, you can just stop right here if you are not expecting to use it like a woke. Here's why this is now my workhorse in the kitchen. 1. in the new apartment, I no longer have a high powered gas stove, a traditional wok is not useless. This thing is almost as light as a hand hammered iron wok. 2. it's thin enough that heats up fast to stir fry 3. it does not retain heat nearly as much as my hexclad...which is key to woking.....heats up fast and cools down fast 4. it has more raised steel parts than hexclad, it provide better, faster heating, and frankly better flavor (yes, it will stick much more....but this is a wok, if you are sticking with a wok, you are probably not using it right) 5. it comes with a very nice lid with I use may be 20% of the time. I believe one could put it into the dishwasher but it is simple to wash since nothing sticks and it’s really too large to fit. Nice large wok, Great to cook with. Love the nonstick material. And i actually was looking for and love the 2 short handles instead of 1 short and 1 long pan handle which seems standard for such larger cookware. However, the way the short handles are mounted onto the metal attachments, one needs to be careful when grabbing the hot wok as the metal attachment sites are too close to the middle of the wooden dowls and you could burn yourself by accident.
