I love these lamps. I am not a "modern" furniture lover, but these go great in my transitional house. I really like these lamps overall. I do wish they were a little taller for my space, but they still look beautiful in the room. I like the size of the lamp. It has a smaller footprint and doesn’t take up a lot of room on the end table. I especially like the on/off touch switch at the base of the lamp. The USB port at the base of the lamp is a convenient feature as well. What I don’t like about it, and the reason I gave it a 4, is the lampshade. The shade seems to mute the light coming from the bulb. The light has a yellowish dull glow not very conducive for reading. These are lovely lamps that I am adding to my guestroom. The only problem which is not really a problem is that for the touch feature the wire that comes out of the lamp base is extra long and needs to be tucked down into the lamp and it’s not a smooth entry into that base.
