These are pretty. A little strange the base color (blue) was speckled looking. The shipping was less than desirable. They did not arrive in time to be painted by my painters. The ETA changed a lot. Beautiful high quality shutters that I could not find anywhere else. Do be warned that production and delivery take a long time due to each shutter being cut to your custom measurements. The manufacturer’s helpline was excellent and they helped me track the shipment statuses and talk through installation process with one of their product specialists. Urethane faux wood shutters stay true to authentic wood by not only having a wood grain, but also by having the ability to be either gel-stained or painted. Longevity of this faux wood material is priceless, without sacrificing the real wood appearance of the shutters.

Purchased the Riverwood style. Painted them but have not installed yet. They arrived primed, but primer is tacky…sticky. I have had to put 2 heavy coats of paint on them. Still painting…waiting for paint coats to dry and not be sticky either. Only concern is the shutters are not as sturdy as I expected (why the 4 stars) and hoping during installation they will not be damaged. I was a little hesitant to spend the hefty price on these shutters being that you can spend a fraction of the price for cookie cutter shutters at a big box store. However, I wanted something different than the 100's of other homes on the block. I'm happy to say, that I am very pleased with the end result. I ended up purchasing the "primed" shutters and selected my own exterior paint color to use on these. I was a bit annoyed that no mounting hardware is included, so I ended up using deck screws and cement anchors into the brick mortar. Then used 3/8" mushroom caps to plug the holes. I did not want a permanent plug because I may wat to take them down and repaint them at some point. Pros: -solid construction, not hollow like general store bought shutters. -painted well over the primer -unique design Cons -expensive -does not come with mounting hardware. Chris. Amazing shutters and the perfect color for my house! They most definitely modernize the exterior and enhance the aesthetic of the house. They are very sturdy with wood-like material instead of vinyl. Love at first sight till we had them installed. They were challenging to hang. I recommend predrilling your holes on the shutter itself and starting in the middle. When placing screws on top, it bows and bends. The contractor had the hardest time placing the first one, and it broke my heart to see all the holes and damage. Of course, we stopped and devised a better game plan for the other 8—same issue but not as bad. I have gotten filler and some paint to cover the holes.. Rn. Bonaire, GA. Tue Dec 05 2023

I bought these because wood shutters have not held up in our climate. These shutters are heavy duty and almost seem like wood but I guess it is pvc. Just installed so I will update once they have been weathered a bit.. Tammy. Escondido, CA. Thu Jan 26 2023
