The stand does everything as expected and is very sturdy. We have a larger/bulkier projector. I was worried the tray wouldn't be able to hold its weight, but it seems ok with the fabric band that was provided. The only thing I don't like is that the stand goes up and down, but there's no capability to change the actual angle of the projector/tray. You can only use it flat. What a cool item. It fits great in our large SUV and in our smaller sedan. It fit our large iPad, our sons tablet with a thick protective case and our small 8” Samsung tablet. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it’s a lot heavier doesn’t fold down as compact as I expected.
