The inspiration for this collection comes from the flooring recovered from an old country home in Romagna, dating back to the early 1900s, when cement began to be used as a binder for renovation work, but pieces of marble or recycled materials were used as insets. In the porcelain stoneware of I COCCI, the grain size varies depending on the size of the different pieces obtained from a single type of traditional white marble chips and white cotto. The mortar used is grey on the outside and white at the core. The collection features a base tile with the same “gravelly” pattern present on the decorative element.

The tile is good, I took a star off because upon delivery the driver is supposed to call 30 minutes ahead, which wasn’t done. So it was delivered which blocked our garage, so we had to physically move it. The tile is beautiful. Exactly what I was wanting. Very light cream colored natural limestone tile. I bought it to coordinate with the floors that were original to my home built in 1994. I was told by a local tile company that it could not be sourced. I checked wayfair and the photo looked exactly like what is currently in my home. I took the chance and ordered it hoping it would be a close match. It is the exact same tile! I couldn't be more pleased with it. Shipping took WAY longer than expected, which was 25 days when it was supposed to be a week. It delayed our project, but I don't really care because of the perfect match, it was worth the wait..
