I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. The lavatory legs are high-quality, but did not adjust to the height that was mentioned in their description. The description said that the legs would adjust to 32 3/4", but they would only properly adjust to the sink bottom being only a maximum of 30 1/2" from the floor. The sink that I used them on, was 31" from the floor, so the escutcheon needed to go farther than the chromed legs until it was only covering the top adapter. I would give this base 5 stars but it is a bit wobbly, but my husband is going to be able to fix it once we get help from the manufacture. The directions are brief and do give an email address to get help. The reason we needed to buy this base was because after 1 year and two weeks the Kelly Clarkson table we bought from Wayfair cracked at the base rendering it useless. Wayfair would not make good on the table as it was 2 weeks over the year warranty but did give us a $50 gift certificate plus 10% of a purchase so we bought this base which makes the table look ten times better then the Clarkson base.
