Inspired by our jaunts overseas where oil drums in varying stages of deterioration greeted us at every turn, we created our replicas of the discs carved from the tops (or bottoms) as edgy decorative elements. Though the patina we achieved a finish that may convince you that these are made of metal, the cast oil drum wall discs, which are packaged as 4 pieces, are made of composite that our artisans made to look jagged like real aging metal would. I’ll be sure to add a photo when I do hang them, but for now I’ll include photos of them laid out on the floor in different scenarios I’m considering. It’s not too easy to see because of the tile they are on - but it’ll give you an idea.
