This vanity is very heavy and seems super sturdy, and the silver color is beautiful. I wanted a unique color that would go with most any furniture, and this silver/grey is perfect. As stated in other reviews, the bench is not very substantial (so far so good) but I am being careful with it and plan to eventually replace it. The drawer space is more than adequate for my cosmetics and skincare. The mirror, while a bit difficult to install according to my husband, is beautiful. He mentioned he though small covers should have been included to cover a few exposed screws, but once I placed my things on the vanity they are not noticeable at all. When my wife ordered this I was not happy to say the least and even less when it arrived but after organizing all the pieces and reading the instructions I started… while yes time consuming and tedious mainly cause of small screws and big hands it was an almost painless process..I definitely recommend having a second person in my case my wife to help with moving of some of the bigger pieces..a drill would help with the repetitive screws for the drawer rails but even with hand not bad..I give a 810 for assembly and a 910 for construction this thing is solid... ... Item arrived timely, packed well, and without damage. Assembly, however, was another story. The instructions are absolutely horrible and utterly useless. My husband happens to be very good with diy and assembly so he was able to put it together using the photo of what it looks like completed. So I removed a star for the poor instructions. Anyone purchasing should be aware that you’ll need to be confident in your assembly abilities or know someone who is. Other than that, I absolutely love it! It’s just the right size for my space and provides ample storage. The lights are a nice extra! The ten side drawers are narrow but deep, and they glide very smoothly. The center drawer has the glass top, making your items in there visible. I’m not sure yet whether I’ll be using that drawer for jewelry or cosmetics. The only thing it was missing was a power outlet for hair tools, etc. I simply purchased an attractive surge protector that I could leave accessible and while it does take up some of the vanity top space, you could easily get one that attaches to the side of the vanity and it would still be accessible. I wasn’t sure if I’d like the ‘crystal’ knobs and I’m still not sure and I planned to change them originally, but I may stay with them. I purchased this vanity desk as a gift for my wife, and overall she’s happy with it, especially since it fits perfectly in our small apartment. Once assembled, it looks really nice in the bedroom. The drawers provide good storage space, and the Hollywood-style mirror lights give it a nice, elegant look. There were a couple of small issues. Some of the panels had minor wear and tear and a few light scratches out of the box, though some of it can be hidden once everything is assembled. My wife also noticed that the lights are brightest near the start of the arch where the power socket is, and they become slightly dimmer toward the end. It’s still usable, but the brightness difference is noticeable. Assembly was mostly straightforward, but steps 27–31 can be a little tricky. If the E1 piece looks slightly short, the side drawers may not close properly or align with the center drawer. In that case, you may need to move the E1 piece one hole backward. If you’re unsure how to reposition it, you may need to revisit steps 5 and 6 in the instructions. Making this adjustment should help the drawers line up correctly.
