The drawers aren’t truly soft close, but that’s fine. The amount of storage is just right for our purposes—allowing us to store towels on the bottom shelf is key. We love it. This vanity exceeded my expectations. VERY solid construction, the finish was accurate to the pictures, the countertop has a nice honed appearance and I appreciate the storage of the slant out top drawer- a feature you don’t often find in bath vanities. General ordering consideration- there is a narrow removable section in the shelf for your drain, but if your plumbing doesn’t line up square, you can forego the shelf or do some modification via cutting to fit your set up. This was marked down more than $500 from the original price. Even so, $1000 is nothing to shake a stick at. I was expecting a quality I could live with. Well, that's what I got. My major complaint is that the space between the cabinet and stone top is off so the top is slightly higher on one side. The other fault so far is the screw holes for the handles are not counter sunk, drilled from the front, leaving a splintered rough hole on the inside drawers. And the screws for the handles are so SHORT as to be almost worthless. I'll probably change them. All the other screws are countersunk with a clean finish. And the door is not flush at the very top.
