These doors were perfect. Packaged SO well and good quality. They are very heavy and feel solid. However the description says solid wood… they definitely are not. When I notched out the hinges it appeared to have an mdf core, at least where the hinges go. But that doesn’t bother me. They feel solid and heavy! We totally love the new hallway doors! They have replaced 1980s louver doors and make the entry now feel so contemporary and up-to-date. These look great, but my Contractor said they were a pain to install. I bought two sets for two different rooms. One set was perfectly fine. The second set of doors arrived boat. The level confirmed that the door frame was plumb, but these doors were not cut straight at the factory. These were perfect for a laundry room I framed in my basement. Relatively easy install if you have general construction knowledge and your rough in is correct. Glass is see through.
