We call this our “pretty shed”. It took 3 people to assemble and I recommend you stain and seal it pretty quickly as the pine wood absorbs water and spots if not sealed. I also recommend you use a power nailer since the siding shingles are fairly thin and when we tried to use a hammer they started to split. This worked out well for our needs. Definitely not a one-person assembly job as some pieces either didn't align exactly right or needed someone else to hold pieces together so they could be attached. The holes in the door don't align very well so it's hard to attach a small lock to keep the door from swinging outward. Everything was labeled and the instructions (mostly pictures with directional arrows) were easy to follow enough. If you can assemble Lego sets, the assembly instructions were about the same method. Yes, you need a floor. Do measure the space before buying and cutting (tip - HD will give you one free cut on the giant board. Having it in two pieces makes it much easier to install inside). We also needed a ladder to assemble the roof. It is a bit flimsy though it worked well for us as we installed this in the small space between the house and fence, nestled up against another part of a fence that does not open. This shed is nice! It’s not what I expected but so far it’s been good. It is very windy where we live and so far the shed has been super sturdy. It is resin and has channels. Not sure how the floor will hold up, but the walls once assembled seem great. Assembly is a lot of prep and it takes 2-3 people. Comes in pretty heavy boxes so be prepared. I purchased this for my umbrella cockatoo so he would have a sizeable space outdoors. I knew I would be changing out the screen that came with the shed to a fencing more appropriate for a large parrot. I was able to easily modify it for my needs and it has been great for my cockatoo. He loves the space and it has held up to his destructive nature. It took 2 people all day to put it together, but that was largely because there are a ton of screws for this.
